Inexpensive Wedding Photographer

Hi - We are looking for a solid artistic wedding photographer for around 1500 - it seems like all of the quality/artistic photographers are much higher - does anyone have any suggestions?

I know one photographer, also former/fellow knottie, who's most inexpensive package is 1500. She also has an "a la carte" menu for prints, etc. Tell her you're a knottie and you may get a slight discount also. You can find her contact info here:

I'd recommend my photographers!  You get TWO of them, they are husband/wife and work together exclusively on all weddings, and are infinitely familiar with southern CA.  They are a blast and in the upper echelon of photographers!  www.imaginephotoaz.com, and tell them Jess sent you!  I love those guys!

We used a husband and wife photography couple who run a children's portrait studio and started doing weddings on the side, very nice young couple and great work. You can check them out at http://weddingsbyschlick.blogspot.com/

We got their most expensive package for $1499. Unlimited photos, retouches and images done in black and white and sepia tones, comes with 50 thank you cards, a free engagement shoot and print out engagement photo of your choice for your wedding, a cd of all images...it's pretty inclusive! They have 2 other cheaper packages as well.
