P.S.

When during the reception do you do table visits? Is there a point where you wait to long and it becomes rude??

we did our visits right after hubby and I were done eating our dinners...we sat for a couple minutes and enjoyed looking at everyone that was there - just savoring the moment - then got up and visited :D hth!

we are greeting guests as they come into the reception venue and then we will be introduced. We chose this because we want to enjoy our reception and now worry about who we didnt get to say hi to. Once we are introduced we get to enjoy the night!!!

Since you'll be eating before everyone, you should have time during dinner to do visits. We let out guests aisle by aisle at the church and I'm glad. Although I made it to most tables during and after dinner, there were a couple I missed, but I didn't feel too bad since we greeted everyone at the church. HTH!

we did ours right after we ate, but before we even sat everyone down to eat we had done our cake cutting, first dance/bridal party dance, and toasts, so after dinner we were good to go and visit until the garter/bouquet tosses.  saved us a lot of time and really helped the flow of the reception, we got a lot  of compliments about doing all that stuff in the beginning as opposed to during/after dinner.

We did our receiving line at the reception so we didn't need to go around to the tables.  We felt like we should say hi to everyone but also be able to enjoy the party. :)
