So the deadline for my Bridal shower's RSVP's is the 5th. I was informed by my MOH when I asked how the RSVP's are going that we have officially received 5.......out of 52. Ok, minus my mom and my bridesmaids and a couple friends that told me they are coming so like 5 out of 45. Which means 40 more people have yet to call.... This does not look good for the wedding........

My shower RSVP date is today and we are still waiting to hear from 47 out of 120.  It's definitely unsettling to know that so many people can't figure this whole RSVP thing out.Hopefully, yours start rolling in during the next few days.

I was told that a shower should be "regrets only" to avoid the rsvp problems. we did regrets only and included an email address option along with two phone numbers and have heard from about 10 out of 75 that they can't make it

I definitely had issues all around. It's so awkward hunting people down regarding their RSVPs...but you hear stories of people who didn't respond and they end up showing up to your events! We invited 50 people to the shower and five days after the deadline only 6 responded!!! We invited 240 guests to the wedding, and a week after the deadline, I was still waiting to hear from 82 people!!!! Im learning a lot from planning my wedding and from here on out I vow to always RSVP on time!!!! It all works out, though!!!! Good luck!

our wedding is here in a few weeks.. so we've gone through the RSVP madness for 2 showers, 1 rehearsal dinner and the wedding finally - people are rediculous and rude about RSVP'ing.. My last shower had 42 woman - the invitations went out 5 weeks before and the deadline week - I found out only 8 RSVP'd.. so we all took some names and tracked these people down.. Then I had people that were at the shower and had not sent their RSVP for the wedding back! So, at the shower, I'm like, "are you coming to the wedding".. RUDE people.. and family is almost the worst! I promise you it will pan out - you'll just have to track them all down..

My RSVP date is today and I have 20 out *of 140 so mine aren't doing too bad.We put regrets only on the shower invite, only 4 people called to say they weren't coming, like 25 didn't show!

for my baby shower we used phone numbers and email and we got the majority from email it makes it very easy for people.

I agree with email added as an RSVP option...I got majority of my responses via email.  Makes people more comfortable and it seems to be easier for people!
