Just wanted to know of any first hand experiences. what time of year was your wedding? what was the staff like? any words of advice? favorite part of the venue? least favorite?
We are getting married there on September 22nd! It was recommended to us from a friend. The property is really pretty when it's in bloom and the staff (I have been in touch with two different ladies) is helpful.
The selling point for us was not only the price, but the ability to bring in our own caterer! Only down fall is you have to bring in EVERYTHING! Tables, chairs, linens, decor and set it all up yourself.
No but we booked at Gardens of Paradise www.gardensofparadise.com it is a ranch in Santa Clarita awesome place with waterfalls and lagoons they let you bring in your own caterer and they supply tables chairs etc very nice we are excited. Bonus is the Executive Planner she is awesom
I am looking at Pierre Catering for tables/chairs/linens, but we have a TIGHT budget (9K) so I'm also looking to rent linens for $5/120" round linen at rentablecloths.com. However if you don't have as tight a budget feel free to look at: - www.aaarents.com/ and - http://www.sprezrents.com/ (ask for Sharon)
We live 1 block away from there and there's a wedding/event every weekend, so it seems like a popular joint! Hope that helps!
