DOC final payment

What is the customary time for the final payment for the DOC?  Will put 50% down in advance and I am paying all supplies, equipment, vendors etc myself.  It seems wierd to pay them 2 weeks ahead of time when you don't know they will deliver.  TY in advance.

I paid mine 5 days before as our contract said.

I think our contract said either 2 weeks or 10 days prior.  I paid before hand because as with all the other vendors you have to have them paid in full as well - just hope and pray that they all deliever.

As long as you pay with a check so there's a paper trail, there shouldn't be a problem. I have to pay most of my vendors at least 10 days-2 weeks out, so it's really no different.
