Makeup for E-session

Hey Guys!

Sooo unfortunately my FI and I had to part ways with our previous photogs (not too satisfied with customer service) and we're doing a SECOND engagement session! 

To save money, I planned on doing my own hair and makeup since I had already had got it done for the first one and for a boudoir session....it's just all getting too expensive!

Have any of you gals done it yourself and liked how it turned out in professional pics? Any tips? I bought a lot of HD makeup....but not sure if I should just go to the MAC counter instead since it's just a $50 minimum whereas I spent like $100 on makeup products? I guess I'd be keeping most of it anyway? I guess I'm getting nervous bc these will be the ones in our sign-in guestbook...I don't want them to look blah.

    I'd suggest going to Sephora and them to do an express make up service for you (I think that's what it's called, at least).  For FREE, Sephora will do your eyes, cheeks, or lips.  Personally, I think eyes are the hardest, so I'd have them do that.  There is no obligation to buy anything.  I did it for my b-session, and it turned out great.  I used my own HD foundation & powder, etc. for everything else.  HTH!
