Wedding Coordinator Prices and Services

I am looking for a wedding coordinator (Our wedding will be in Santa Barbara) that is reasonably priced who will help with more than Day Of Services.  I think I have a good handle on many of the details but I still need someone to guide me and go with me to meet with some of my vendors like the florist and help provide some design assistance for the wedding.  Does anyone have any suggestions and what is a good price point for this? 

Any advice would really be helpful!  Thanks :)

    We are using Chrisitna Molina for DOC. We are just using for day services...help with the set-up and any other details on the day of the event. I believe we locked in 2009 prices so she was reasonably priced for our budget when we hired her.

    So far she was been AWESOME! She checks in monthly, answers all your questions! She is truly great and I did see her in action for another knotties wedding and she did an amazing job! You should email her or call her...she is super cool and I'm sure she'll be able to help you!

    I second DOC Cristina Molina...I hired her for my january wedding and she worked her butt off! She made sure everything was done and looked perfect.  She set up everything really nice and like xxquemirasxx said, she is really good contacting you and checking in every month to make sure the planning is going great.

    I also got an affortable price, since I had booked her last year. I know her prices have changed a bit but she is totally worth it.  She also did our invitations for a great price.  check her out, you will not regret it!

    I used Mary Anne Knox. My wedding was in SB too and she is from SB. She knows every vendor in SB and was our lifesaver on our wedding day. I highly recommend her. I think we paid $1800 for "day of" services but it was actually more like "month of" and I emailed her all the time. HTH!

    I'm using Paola at Just Chic Events and she is fabulous. She is pricier than some, but well worth the extra experience that she has.

    She is based in LA, but may be willing to coordinate in SB. We booked her for day-of, but that includes unlimited emails and calls while planning and 3 in person planning meetings, so it's really much more

    I'm not getting married in SB, but my coordinator is DOC'ing a wedding in SB tomorrow.  You can give her a call and see if she's available for your date.  So far she's been awesome! (Even with all the drama I've included her in)
