Los Verdes Golf Course?

Hello Ladies,

We have an appointment to view the Los Verdes Golf Club this Tuesday afternoon. Have any of you heard anything good or bad about this place?

To be honest, I was very excited... until I read one of the reviews on Yelp. They said that the ceremony site was beautiful but you could smell the restrooms while in the ballroom..... now I'm worried this may be yet another dead end in the world of venues.....

I've been to Los Verdes on numerous occasions (weddings, dinners, bridal shows) and never had any such issue.

Oh thats GREAT news!!! Thank you. I was hoping that may have been a one-time thing....

So, do you like it? Or would you not reccommend that we choose tis venue?

I think it is a great venue,  You get a beautiful ocean view similar to what you might get at Terranea or Trump at a much more affordable price point.

My fiance and I went and checked it out. It looks beautiful in the pictures, in person, not so much. The outside is ok, the inside looks, frankly, like a church bingo hall from the '70's. The woman there is also extremely annoying and called me nonstop for about a month after our appointment to see if we were still interested. My fiance told me that even if the place was fabulous, he would not get married there just because it would mean dealing with her.

There are other places in the area that are comparable in price but MUCH nicer. Have you checked out La Venta?
