bilingual invitations

Hi! I am Brazilian and my fiance is American. We are getting married in Brazil in December. I don't know what to do about the invitations. Should I have separate invitations in English and Portuguese or only one bilingual invitation? if so, do you know any company that provides this service?

I'm making my own and it's going to be a bilingual panel card.  The top left is in English and the bottom right is the same thing in Spanish.  I like the idea of having both languages on one invitation because I think it best represents the couple.

We made our own with everything on the same invite: English on top and Spanish on the bottom.

I'm having trouble making a decision about this too. I'm African American and my fi is Salvadorian, and I'm trying to figure out the whole bilingual thing from the invites, to the mass, vows, and program.....I don't know how to best mix in both cultures, I'm sure I'll figure it out though...

We had "space issues" on my American invitations, which caused a few headaches. (No room for his mom's full name, which upset her, etc. Our solution was to have 2 sets of invites: The ones for those in the US, which are in English and follow our etiquette, and a separate, smaller set which his mother purchased in Peru.  The Peruvian invites are in Spanish and follow Peruvian etiquette.

I'm sending two sets of invitations: Spanish and English.

I doubt my English-speaking guests are going to compare notes with my Spanish-speaking relatives...

The best choice for us was to have two separate sets of invites, one in Spanish and the other in English. 

As far as a combo invite, I never looked it to it but I'm sure it could look awesome if done right. Just keep in mind that the etiquette may vary for each culture.

I think it really depends on how important bilingualism/biculturalism is to both of you, followed by some of the practical issues mentioned by PPs.  In our case, I think it is really important that our wedding be as inclusive as possible from the get-go and that our guests (especially on my side) understand that this wedding will be a little different than what they are used to.  So the invitations will be bilingual.

I designed our invitations myself and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out.

We did English on the left, Brazilian Portuguese on the right and the address/names in the middle.

I am getting the traditional invites from http://yourinvitationplace.com/Default.aspx?WebName=mediaplus and a simple translation card from http://www.123print.com, it's only around $30!
