Hi everyone -- we are an interracial couple. I'm Mexican[-American] and he is American.

My family loves to dance, but mostly to Mexican music. His family is more reserved, I would say. The two of us and our friends typically like most music.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to incorporate these tastes/cultural differences? We just want it to be fun for everyone!

I would say play some mexican music, play some top 40 music and find out what his family likes--- have it mixed in.. Like a block of corridos, then duranguese and then slow banda, and bring in the top 40 and whatever else they like.  I would add in some salsa b/c you know "americans" like to show off their moves when they can.
