Ceremony Readings in Spanish

Does anyone have ideas for readings in Spanish during the ceremony?

I'm looking for traditional and non-traditional.

    We're having read at ours Pablo Neruda's Sonnet 17. My MOH will be reading it in Spanish and then I'm going to have the English translation of it printed in the programs. I think it's quite beautiful. HTH!

    We went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a book of love poems and writings in Spanish.  We have been reading it together in the evening and when we have finished it, we hope to pick a selection to be read at the wedding.

    Initially I had thought of putting English translations in the program.  But, I am not going to be putting Spanish translations of every thing that is said in English.  So, we are just doing the parts we want in English and the parts we want in Spanish.  We figure if someone has a question about a specific part they will ask us or another guest.

    Thanks for the advice!  FI and I decided that the reading in Spanish is going to be song lyrics that we love... Jose Luis Perales "El Amor" (we'll probably change a couple parts so it makes more sense when someone other than one of us is reading it):

    El amor,

    es una gota de agua en un cristal,

    es un paseo largo sin hablar,

    es una fruta para dos.

    El amor,

    es un espacio en donde no hay lugar

    para otra cosa que no sea amar;

    es algo entre tú y yo...

    El amor es llorar cuando nos dice adiós,

    el amor es soñar oyendo una canción,

    el amor es besar poniendo al corazón,

    es perdonarme tú y comprenderte yo...

    el amor es parar el tiempo en un reloj,

    es buscar un lugar donde escuchar tu voz,

    el amor es crear un mundo entre los dos,

    es perdonarme tu y comprenderte yo...

    El amor,

    es una gota con sabor a miel,

    es una lluvia en el atardecer,

    es un paraguas para dos.

    El amor,

    es un espacio donde no hay lugar,

    para otra cosa que no sea amar,

    es algo entre tú y yo...

    El amor es llorar cuando nos dice adiós,

    el amor es soñar oyendo una canción,

    el amor es besar poniendo al corazón,

    es perdonarme tú y comprenderte yo;

    el amor es parar el tiempo en un reloj,

    es buscar un lugar donde escuchar tu voz,

    el amor es crear un mundo entre los dos,

    es perdonarme tu y comprenderte yo...

    Thanks for posting the song!  I'm having a DW in Mexico with a man that speaks fluent Spanish.  I'm enjoying looking at all of this board.
