is getting very intolerable. Between the people that get in your face about cell phones, beauty crap, ect, and the 15 year olds that dress like street walkers, I never want to go back. I go into a jewlery store and say I AM JUST LOOKING and yet they still get very pushy about not only buying things, but signing up for a frickin creditcard (that probably has a million % interest). And then the chick goes into biatch mode when I tell her no for the 3rd time she asked..uggh! I know they make money when I spend it, but getting rude is no way to make a sale. Then, oh and this is the kicker, they have a gown store in there, I walk in with no greeting, and I don't mind not being bothered, but when I go to ask if a certain one comes in white, not ivory, she woman looked down at my son in the stroller, and says, "It does, but it is QUITE pricy as we only have designer gowns." Whatever I don't want your frickin dress anyway! Sorry I had to vent I am MAD!

I went into that dress store once, she carried Maggie, wanted a price for a dress, she told me would call me with it cause she didn't have it. I haven't heard from her yet and that was in June. She also pissed me off talking to me like I was stupid. "Well, you should be booking your hall and you should be doing this, you should be doing that," like I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't come there to ask you to co-ordinate my wedding, I just wanted a price on a dress and now that you bring her up,, I'm a little bothered she never called me with that information. Oh well...she obviously needs help on how to run her business...

I avoid Chapel Hill mall at all costs. It just grosses me out.Don't let the dress lady get to you. She's the one that just lost a potential sale by offending you.

Most shopping malls are like that anymore. It seems like everything started going downhill when the malls opened up their doors to the little carts and kiosks... cell phones, perfume, knicknacks, etc. I avoid malls if I can.

My experience at Jared's Galleria of Jewelry was like that.  Not enjoyable at all.  But when we ring shopping at JBR it was fun!  Which it should be!  Sorry you had bad experiences, but yeah, I can relate.  Some people should just not be in retail!

Springbride- this reminds me of Pretty Woman, when Julia Roberts tries to go shopping and those nasty sales women tell her "its VERY Expensive" and won't help her out. That woman does not deserve your business!!!

Yeah, that place is pretty snobby. They charge $20 just for an appointment. On a good note if you live in the Akron area there's a new formalwear/bridal shop open on the corner of Maple and Exchange and it looks like they've got some cute stuff.

That is right...Bella Noche charges $20 to try stuff on if you don't have an appt. WTF kinda crap is that, especially when no one was in the store the day I went in. I didn't ask to try on anything but I saw that sign and was totally turned off...
