Is it too late to get a Mariachi?

Hi!
Do you think its too late to find an available Mariachi with three months to go til my wedding?  My FI is American and I am Mexican, and I was already planning on having the DJ play spanish music during the reception but I think I want a Mariachi to play during the dinner hour as well.
I live in the south burbs of Chicago so any suggestions or recommendations would also be greatl!!

I don't think it's to late at all, I've been going back and forth on the same thing. We are getting married in Oct. and I want to have them play during the cocktail hour. I know I found alot when I did a google search for mariachi bands in nyc. Maybe try that in the chicago area. HTH.

I think  you'd be fine as long as they're available on your wedding date, check with your local board hopefully someone there can give you more info.

You're fine.  We didn't hire our mariachi until around August and we got married in July.  The band we used is Indy based but will probably do a Chicago show for the right price.  Here's their info: http://www.mariachisoljalisciense.webgarden.es/.

Yes, I agree it's not too late.  We are about 4 months til the wedding and just booked ours.  You should start looking soon though.

You should be fine.  If the mariachi doesn't pan out you could also look into hiring a trio.
