Reception Timeline

We're meeting with our DJ tomorrow to give him our playlists, and we have to give him a timeline of when everything will be happeneing (BP/BG entrance, cake cutting, first dance, BP dance, parent dances, garter/bouquet toss)...this is turning out to be so much harder than I thought!  I know we can really do what we want, but I don't have anything to go off of!Anyone willing to share their reception timeline to give me a starting point?(Reception is 7 to midnight)TIA!

We were unsure of the timeline as well and our DJ told us the order of events for most weddings when we met with him. You can really do it any way you choose. However, what he suggested doing was the most popular. If I remember correctly, here is how it goes...HTH!7 - BP Entrance      Toasts      Dinner      Cake      Dances      Bouquet toss      Garter
