Hi ladies....we actually got engaged on Valentine's Day. We got a nice hotel room for the evening and met there after work....he was like, "here's your Valentine's gift," and hands me an emerald ring. I guess to throw me off?
Then we went out for a really romantic dinner and then sat in the cigar bar where he smoked a cigar
When we got back to the hotel, I jumped into bed and asked him to join me and watch TV....he was nervously pacing around lol. He walked up to bed bed and told me the story of the heirloom ring, back to his great grandfather proposing after returning from war.....he said I was the person he wanted to give the ring to, and he cried and got down on one knee.
It was a super perfect proposal. Since the ring is a fourth generation heirloom, we decided to get it reset. We went to the jeweler together and designed it and it should be done soon. We are THRILLED and so excited to start our life together.
