hi everyone! just wanted to introduce myself. i've enjoyed the knot for a while but it never felt appropriate to actively participate because although i was in a (very) long term relationship we weren't officially official.
different story now! on our trip to Myrtle Beach which was threatened by earthquakes & hurricanes & craziness - my fiance (hehe) took me for a walk on the beach (my favorite) at sunset and asked me to spend our lives together! it was fitting that there was a ferris wheel on the boardwalk behind us since 12 years ago - when i was only 14 - he first told me he liked me at our neighborhood feast. the proposal was quiet and private and PERFECT!
just wanted to share my little story with you girls and say hello! i'm hoping for a September 2012 wedding. guest list is already in the works and i'm starting the search for venues. if anyone has any words of wisdom please send them my way!
