pew decorations

how are you (or how did you) decorate your church pews for the ceremony? I know people often just use tulle or ribbon bows, but I'm trying to find other creative ideas that are also inexpensive. Any suggestions?

Pic in bio. We did bows w/ 3 kinds of ribbon in each and embellished 'em with silk ivy.

we bought organza sashes from the flower factory, wraped them around a pew clip, and the pinned sand dollars and starfish to the front of them. they were gorgeous and went with our beachy themed wedding, but you could really pin whatever you want to a sash to make it work with any theme.  HTH!
