It is so weird writing that word in reference to myself! "Bride." But my boyfriend - or fiance - proposed last night out of the blue. No fancy dinner, no ring, just the two of us in our kitchen, cuddling our new kitten. I never had some idealized vision of how a proposal should go, and we've never been conventional anyway, so it was just right.
Since we have a couple of challenges - bicoastal families and low fundage - I thought I'd start considering some planning ideas for a small ceremony. Just looking at all the info out there is a teeny bit terrifying! Save-the-dates? Favors? Wedding colors?! ACK!
