Mother Nature - Aug 22

So I'm down to 1 week left and are able to see the 8-10 day forcasts.. I'm getting nervous as this next week is suppose rain in NEO every day.. Some channels and sites say saturday is 10% chance others say 40%.. when should I start talking about the backup sites? As currently we are doing outdoor pics and an outdoor ceremony. Is there a site out that is alot more accurate that I should follow more closely for NEO weather? Anyone else concerned?

My wedding is in 2 weeks so I understand your concern....but too early for me to start stalking the weather. Below is the best website for weather. It is used by aviation. http://www.usairnet.com/weather/

I'm Aug 22 also and weather.com currently says 60% chance of rain. Accuweather says passing showers but mostly sunny, for my area code. I have an indoor/outdoor reception so am just thinking if it rains we will be all indoor but I would of course prefer the sun to be shining!Lets cross our fingers that the weather is as unpredictable as always and we have wonderful weather. If you have backup places planned I would start talking to them throughout the week especially if the forecast keeps looking the way it is, it is still 7 days out though and those weather guys never seem to know what is going on!

my advice based on experience...the weather is just one of many things that is out of your control on your wedding day...totally normal to stress over it, but at one point you're just going to have to sit back and let mother nature do her thing and go with it.  focus your energy on what you actually can control this last week, because lord knows you'll have a TON to do.  just have a rainy day back up plan just in case and let your day take its course.  good luck and we'll keep our fingers crossed for you!

Hey there! My wedding was on 8/8 with a planned outdoor ceremony. All week on the Weather Channel it told me it was going to rain...and....it did! lol. So, we had a plan B in order and made the change around 10am on the wedding day. It poured during the ceremony, so thank goodness we had a plan B, but then the sun came out for pictures! I think having a plan B gives you a peace of mind that is definitely worth while. You have to remember not to go too crazy over analyzing the forecast, NEO does what it wants and you just have to be able to roll with the flow. It will be amazing and beautiful not matter what. When I found it it was 40% chance rain on my wedding day I was convinced it wouldn't be as nice or as beautiful with our plan B, but it was. Everything falls in to place. Good luck and enjoy this last week...it FLIES by!
