Gather guest e-mail

I would like to gather the e-mail addresses of our guests.  We are going to send out save the date postcards - and I was thinking I could somehow instruct them to go to our wedding website / or another resource on the knot - to enter their e-mail address.Has anyone done this/ know how to do this/ have another solution?Thanks in advance.

    You can try that, but good luck actually getting them to do it. We put our website on our save the dates, and we had about a whopping 30 people go and look at it. We also put our website on our invitations, telling them to go there for reception and hotel information, which has made more of them go. And for some reason, nobody is signing our guestbook- only 18! So, unless my guests are just completely computer illiterate or lazy, I wouldn't really count on a lot of yours actually doing it.
