My fiance finally proposed last month after two years of dating (although we were friends before that). I knew it was coming because he was super spazzy in the days before we left for DC (he had to go for business). He proposed on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on one of the coldest nights of the year. I really didn't even get to see the ring until we were back in the hotel room because I had to immediately put my gloves back on so my hands didn't freeze off!
We have already set a date, 11/23/13, in fact the contract on the venue is being signed in the morning
