My e-ring is also from Blue Nile and it's absolutely perfect. Plus, my FI paid about half what he would have for a comparable ring at a regular jewelry store. My FI really liked the buying process, because it really allowed him to control which of the Four C's were the most important to us and buy accordingly. I've heard from multiple people that when they bought their rings in-person at a jewelry store, they ended up with the diamond that the salesperson wanted to sell them, not necessarily the one they wanted.

This exactly! FI went with Blue Nile because he was able to build my ring exactly how he wanted, they have great customer service, and he paid waaaaay less than he would have for the same ring at a local or chain jeweler. Then for our wedding bands, the bands we chose cost about 300% more at Michaels and Kay Jewelers. We couldn't believe it! We're very happy with Blue Nile and highly suggest it to anyone ring shopping. FI just referred one of his friends to Blue Nile who's about to propose to his girlfriend and he's so happy FI told him about it because he was about to overpay for the ring.
My ring isn't from Blue Nile, but I have purchased other jewellery from them and was very pleased. The quality is great and the customer service is excellent. I would definitely buy my wedding ring there.
My fiance bought my engagement ring from Blue Nile. When we got it appraised, it appraised for twice as much. The website was great to work with and they were very accommodating. I recommend them to everyone! We will be getting our wedding bands there.

I got my original E-ring from BlueNile. The stone is absolutely gorgeous, and the sidestones had great color, clarity and sparkle. That's where the good aspects end.
The band was thinner than the specs said it would be - 2 mm instead of 3mm, which is substantial when it's that small to begin with. Not surprisingly, the sidestones look considerably smaller in real life as well (a lot of reviews on their website say the same thing about actual vs expected size of sidestones). The prong-set sidestones were scratchy on my pinky and middle fingers. The actual head/setting was not centered straight-on, and too clunky and big for my 1/2 carat stone - it encased most of my princess cut diamond so you couldn't see much more than the top. To top it off, they then stopped making the matching wedding band.
So, I ended up having my stone re-set into something else that I am now much happier with that shows off the clarity and cut of the stone much better. If you're just getting your diamond from there, or are getting a very simple setting, you'd probably be okay... but I doubt I would go through them again.
We bought the diamond for my engagement ring from Blue Nile and had it set in a setting from Helzbergs. I couldn't be happier with it! It was cheaper than ordering both the setting and diamond from Helzbergs, and you can pick what you want for the diamond based on cut, clarity, etc. I would definately recommend BN.
