Hi everyone!! I got engaged Friday!!
It was beyond perfect! FI took me to the same restaurant he took me on our first date for a wonderful dinner. Then we went out to get on the ferris wheel (which he had purchased tickets for earlier in the day and is also where our first kiss took place) and timed it just perfect to be on the ride during the fireworks show over the water. It was beautiful!! He somehow managed to get the guy working to stop our cart at the very top. He told me there was another reason for taking me out that night and he managed to get on one knee in the tiny cart, show me the ring he had been clinging to so hard because he was scared of it falling out of the cart, and asked me if I would marry him. Of course I said YES!! I knew he was my soulmate from the very beginning. We are so excited for this new journey.
