So my FH and I hosted a big party for all of our friends to celebrate my graduation, his employment, and our engagement all at once.
For those of you who read my first post (under brkdonaldson) you know that my peridot engagement ring broke, and we learned after the fact just how soft a stone it is.
I had posted my dilemma of either fixing it and risk breaking it again, or finding a different ring to suit my needs.
Because of personal reasons my FI and I did not want a diamond. (Not that I don't love diamonds, cause I do!)
Well at our party he surprised me with this beautiful moissanite ring:
Very simple very classic. So far it's fooled every one including a gemologist. Can't suggest this stone enough if you are looking for a diamond alternative.
