Cake Dilemma....PIP your cake inspiration!!!

So, I've had my cake picked out since last summer & we (meaning me, my mom, aunts & grandma) have been searching for the 'right' butterflies to use on our cake...ugh...maybe I'm just being picky, but I cannot find the right butterflies....if I find the butterflies, they don't come in the right shade...ugh...So, with this being said, I think I may have to search for another cake design...=(

First, your cake topper is too cute!  Second, I wouldn't totallly give up.  I've noticed more and more things coming out in the wedding world just in the past few weeks as it gets closer to wedding season so I'd wait as long as possible before giving up.

Have you checked with any of the local bakeries and maybe they could order some in for you for a fee? They might have a specialty store they order from that can color match. I don't know!

These might work since you could probably spray paint or do something for the color if the seller doesn't have the purple

I'm doing the same thing but with edible butterflies. There are a lot of sellers on etsy that do them that are gorgeous!

Edible is a good option, also getting butterflies you could paint! That's an awesome way of getting them to be exactly how you want.
