My and my boy friend had been dating for a year and two weeks but we have known eachother growing up (We did not like eachother then I might add him being a typical loud and busy 9 year old boy and me a quite girl) and when he decided to propose he did it in a way I would never expext. Our church has a banquet every chirstmas and I have gone almost every year. For the past few years he has preformed a song (He is a rapper) and a few weeks before the banquet he showed me the first part of a song he was writing and I absolutly loved it! (It was about me and he had never done anything like that before) so when it came to him preforming the song I relized that it was the song that he had written for me! I thought that beacuse I love Christmas so much that he was going to be relating it some how. Then he started to walk off stage and I had no thought as to what he was doing I thought it was just the stage preformance. But then he started to walk towards me and then as he was finishing up his song he knelt no one knee and asked me over the mic and infront of over 250 people!! It was a big difference from the way I told him would be fine (Sitting at home just the two of us) but I would not change what he did for anything!! We are going to be getting married this April!
