I want to send out engagement announcement cards to my fiance's family, as most of them live out of state. I've been looking at some of the wording samples, and they seem rather formal, and I don't really want to put what we do for a living on the cards (I feel its unnecessary) and I also don't want to put our parents' names on the cards, as the recipients already know.
Now, I'm stumped. I'm not sure how to word the engagement announcements. Does anyone have any clever or cute ideas? What did your engagement announcements say?
