So, my fiance and I were talking about getting married, as we always have, and we decided that we wanted tog et married before I got accepted into a nursing school, so we wouldnt have to wait for 3 or more years before we could get married. So, we didn't really tell anyone, but we started to look at rings and we finally found one we I loved! So after we picked it out, he told me I wasn't allowed to know any other information because he wanted the proposal to be a surprise, lol! So, my fiance and I know each other better than anyone, so when he asked me out of the blue, :Hey babe, where is that park at where we first met?" I kinda got a clue as to where he was planning to propose. :]]
So on October 30th, we went to a corn maze with my family. We all went through the maze to the other side together, then my fiance, Mike, looked at my little sister Anna and told her, " I bet Leah and I can race you to the other side!" So of course we are competitive and we started racing my little sister to the other side. Soon enough, Mike and I made it out first before Anna and I was doing my little vitory dance, Mike turned to me and said, "Hey, let's go find her and scare her!" I was like, " HECK no! I wanna win!" lol!!! So he just laughed at me and ran inside the corn maze. I called him but he wouldnt answer, so I ran in after him, turned a few corners, and there he was on his knee shaking a little. He said, "I wanted it to be a surprise, so I chose a place you wouldnt suspect. I wanted to do it here, while we were spending a day with your family because I cannot wait to have a family with you. I had other stuff to say but I forget them all." I had the BIGGEST smile on my face, and I got him up, I said yes, and he put the GORGEOUS ring on my finger!!!!!! I couldnt be happier!!!! It was my perfect proposal! It turns out he realized that I knew he was gunna propose at the park where we first met, so he changed his mind last minute. Here is a picture of when he proposed!!!
