I have been waiting for this day my entire life. Yes I have been married before and so has he but I never had a wedding or an actual proposal.

We get up in the morning and he said he was taking me to a cheap motel for the night to get away. He said pack a bag we check in at noon. We left at 10 and stopped for lunch. The weather has been horrible here very cold. This day the sun was shining and it was just a great day. We pull up at a beautiful log bed and breakfast overlooking Lake Superior (about 45 min from home). We check in and he had arranged to have the entire place to ourselves. About an hour after arriving he said to change into something so we can hike and bring the camera. We cross the road and head to the shore line where the Devils Wash tup is. It is a rock formation with a tunnel. He went there all the time growing up. We get there and I am snapping pics and he is bent over the rock looking into the water. He said come over and look at how clear the water is. I head down the rocks and stand behind him where he turned to me on one knee and pulled out a ring. His hands were shaking and nearly dropped it. We were both crying and of course I said Yes!! He gave me a beautiful black diamond ring. We haeded to dinner and as we walked out there was a double rainbow. It couldn't have been more perfect.
Later that night we were talking about how it would be amazing to have our wedding there and possibly right where he proposed. We talked to the B&B owners and they said please have it there. They even have a boat captain that can do the ceremony. We picked a date last night and will call back this weekend to have the place reserved. May 26th 2012..
