Flip Flops

I want to have flip flop baskets, but I'm not sure how many to get and which sizes.  Any advice from people that have done this before?  How many did you get and did you have leftovers or too many?  I have 230 attending the reception.  Thanks!

When I've seen it done they were ALL gone except for a couple of 5's. I suggest doing more bigger sizes because they usually run small or you can usually live with a size bigger more than a size smaller. I suggest at least 50 for than many people if it's in your budget. Assuming at least 100 of your guests are women and probably at least half would love a new pair of flip flops and wouldn't have packed comfortable shoes.

We had about 280 people at our reception and I was going to purchase 100 flip flops but we didn't end up doing a flip flop table.  I tried to get them from Old Navy online with a coupon (60 size 8, 20 size 6, and 20 size 10) but they called me after I placed my order and said there was a limit on the number you could purchase at one time (I think it was 10?) without it be considered buying in bulk.  Well by the time they called my coupon had expired so I gave up and just got them for my bridesmaids.  If you can get your hands on a coupon they are really nice flip flops!  Just print multiples out and take a couple people to the store with you to get them.  I don't think the store cares or monitors as much as they do online orders.  I don't remember when your wedding is but they usually have the flip flops on sale at the end of May too.
