Hello Knoties
I promised myself that I was not allowed to make a knot account until I was really engaged. And here I am, with my first post, my introduction and announcement of my engagement. 
)) Yay! I cannot believe that I was looking for a prom date that turned into my future husband. We have been dating for over 4 years and he officially proposed with the most beautiful ring I could possibly imagine Thursday night. We had always talked about our future and when we would like to get married, so I knew it was coming. But the moment was wonderful just the same. He had taken me on so many romantic and special dates every weekend for a few weeks (kayaking, picnics, fancy dinners, a Cinderella Carriage ride) all of which I was thinking this is it. But lat night was a surprise date. He told me to wear just casual clothes like jeans. He took me to our favorite sushi place and proposed right in front of it. He got down on one knee and I do not remember much after that. Just laugh crying, hugging and kissing followed by omg over and over at the ring and the moment. He said that he could not wait anymore to ask me so he thought that "It's the simple things in life that are important to us." Which is something I would say to him hat it is the little things in life that mean the most. No matter where we were we were with each other.
Anyways, that is my longish story in case you ladies wanted to hear. But the short news is I am so happy to marry the man of my dreams and my best friend. Yay! Now on to planning...
