How do you ladies feel about engagement parties??? Is it a waste of time and money or an essential to celebrating your upcoming events????

    Thank you for all the responses ladies it is very much appreciated my FI is very frugle when it comes to certain things but I am a big spender(I know not good) but when it comes to my wedding I wanted to have a few events to make the next year of my life memorable. I don't really think it's necessary but I love that idea of the at home dinner with close friends and family just celebrating our engagement. Lol @ LucyHC you are definitely right none of those things are essential at all but sometimes just nice to have. @MAndi92 what outside venue is that it looks amazing!!!!!
