I'm so excited we're engaged! My fiance (hehehe!) and I dated for 1 year and 2 months before he popped the question.
We were sitting on a bench next to a lake in a local park when he asked me 'how much do you love me?' I jokingly said 'only a little bit'. We went back and forth a little bit on that before he asked 'do you want me to show you how much I love you?' He then pulled the ringbox out of his suit jacket, got down on one knee and proposed!
I don't really remember much after that...I was kind of in a ring coma. I think I said yes? We're planning the wedding of our dreams.
