My boyfriend proposed to me just after the ball dropped on New Year's. We were staying at my parents' house for the holidays, so my family was right there with us to celebrate the occassion. My mother and sister both cried and everyone rushed in to hug us!
I always thought that I wanted a private proposal; but I cannot imagine anything better than how it actually played out.
We're planning an August/September 2013 wedding. I'm so excited to start planning; but it feels a little premature since there's still so much time left.
