We had discussed getting married for a few months before our proposal. I knew he would ask, and he knew I would say yes, but I did not know when he would pop the question. The day of our proposal, Casey asked me to meet him at North Hills at 7 when he got off work. He said that he was going to take me to dinner at a new place, so I said, "As long as they have something I will like, then okay!" When I met him, we road to a place called Lassiter Mill Historical Park. As we drove in, I said that I had never been back there before, and he said there was a great restaurant back there. When we parked and got out of the car, I said there was no restaurant there. He kinda blew that statement off. We walked down the path, down stone stairs onto a flat bed of rocks next to the Falls at Lassiter Mill Dam. There was a blanket, rose petals, candles, dinner and strawberries. After we ate, we walked down the beach area next to the water to get a better look of the falls. Casey told me how much he loved me and that he couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with me. He got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Needless to say, I said YES!, I cried, we hugged and kissed, and are so excited to start our life together.
