Checkerboard Cheesecake

Hi, I dont post on here too often but i look around a lot and saw a few of you ladies saying you went or are going with checkerboard cheesecake in alliance for your wedding cake.  i am going to be picking up some samples from them on saturday and possibly book with them if i like them.  i was wondering, how large are their samples...are they like a piece of cake?  and also i was wondering how you would rate them, how good their cakes are and their prices?  just want to get some ideas before going in!  TIA!

I don't know about the size of their samples or pricing, because we're not using them, but I LOVE their cakes and cheesecakes and well, all their food!  lol  It's delicious! Sorry not to be of help, but I hope your sampling went well! ps. A friend of fiance's family is supposedly making our cake but she's been tough to get a hold of and we might end up having to buy a cake.  So can you please share the pricing for Checkerboard?

the samplig went good thanks...that gave a very generous portion and they were only $2.50 per sample. the pricing seems pretty cheap to me...it's $1.80 a slice or $1.90 with filling. the specialty cakes like carrot,banana,lemon,red velvet, pumpkin or orange are $1.90 a slice or $2.10 with filling. hope that helps!
