I just recently got engaged and have told my mother that I want a small wedding. 50 people tops, just close friends and family. I'm a very shy person and don't think I could handle having a larger wedding.
My mother has now told me that she is going to invite whoever she wants since my parents the ones paying.
Has anyone else had this issue? What can I do to try to get her to see my point of view? Or what type of comprise can we try to make?
