I just celebrated my 21st birthday on June 7th. That's also the day my fiance proposed to me. We were on our way to his parents house to have a birthday dinner for me. When we got there we were going to tell his family that he proposed. We didn't get a chance because they had already found out on facebook and were all mad at my fiance and I. They were upset because we changed our "relationship status" on Facebook before telling them. It's been a week and they still haven't talked to either one of us. It's hard to be the bigger person when his family can act like big babies. How can I get them to be involved with the wedding plans when right now they don't want to be? Any advice would be great!! None of them have congratulated us yet either and I know that hurt my faince's feelings big time. Thank you.
