Sooooo, my boyfriend proposed this afternoon!!! His proposal was so sweet. It was at home in our apartment. He had a bunch of red roses and then talked about our relationship and our life together and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I saw so shocked I just dropped to the floor with him and hugged him for a minute before I could finially say yes and he gave me the ring!
I'm so excited and happy and totally shocked. We'd been talking about it for a while but I wasn't expecting anything to happen for a few more months. We're thinking Fall 2012, but I don't want to pick a date until I know what the openings at my church are for those months. My ring is a 1 karat diamond with a sapphire on either side. It needs to be sized because it was his grandmother's engagement ring. I'm bummed I can't wear it much until it's sized, but it needs to be done.
