I have an odd engagement ring. It isn't marquise cut, but it's a square turned into the marquise shape. I love it, but no ring will be flush against it. I am a cosmetologist, so I'm not able to wear it to work anyway. Could I just get a plain wedding band that doesn't match? What metal would do best being in contact with water constantly?
Second question: (I don't want to post a ton of threads.)
Should we announce our engagement to friends on Facebook? We're not sure exactly how big our wedding will be yet, and I don't want anyone disappointed that they're not invited if we choose to do a small wedding.
