So my parents are throwing us an engagement party, after I said a million times its not needed. We decided to keep in small and simple and leave it to what I feel its meant for: his family meeting mine. (not parents since they have already met but aunts uncles, cousins, friends...ect) Now that the plans are set and invites are sent out, my dad's father, aunt and uncle are all upset because his aunt and uncle were not invited. I didn't feel it was necessary to invite them to the engagement party but they will be to the wedding....if I invited everyone I would have over 100 people! I don't feel the engagement party should be that big....
am I wrong? Should I have invited everyone? I just wanted it small and intimate.
