Brilliant Earth Rings

We're not engaged yet but my boyfriend and I have discussed it at length and he keeps hinting he'll pop the question sometime after he gets back from his military tech school, hehe ^_^ I've been looking into those Brilliant Earth engagement rings and I've read up on them and I was just wondering if anyone on here has recieved one of their rings from Brilliant Earth?  I like that the website has pictures of the rings on actual hands but I can't really tell their color quality and I really just wanted more advice on them.

Please help ladies :)  I really appreciate your opinions!

Re: Brilliant Earth Rings

  • I think a couple of the girls on the NEY board have brilliant earth rings. Try asking on that board.

  • The search works just like any other online diamond site- you put in the c's you want and it pops out with something in your price range.

The major plus to Brilliant Earth is that they are conflict free, coming from Canada, under good working conditions.

Did you have any specific questions?
  • My ring is from BE and I love it.  It was a platinum trellis rind setting.  I'm a little bias, I'll admit.  We lived in San Francisco at the time and we were able to go into their small location.  I have nothing bad to say about the experience, but I didn't really purchase it so I can't say entirely.  But our salesman was very helpful, we got to sit with him when we went originally to look.  FI said that when he went back to purchase they sat down and looked at many options for the stone.  I do have a picture in my bio, but it isn't the best photo.  The conflict free and ethical mining was very important to me, it was really my only request for FI.  He had done some shopping around but many stores didn't really know that much about conflict free diamonds, so he went with BE.  I have nothing bad to say and we'll likely purchase FI's band from there as well.
  • My ring is also from BE, and I love it.  We ended up getting my wedding band from them as well.  DH had only really positive things to say about their customer service and we have been recommending them to everyone we know!

My coworker has a ring from Brilliant Earth, and she also really recommends them. Hers is a beautiful pale blue sapphire.  We're in the Bay Area, though, so she and her H went to their SF office.
