My fiance and I have been dating for a little over 5 years. We moved in together February 2010. Everyone was asking when we were going to get married but my fiance always acted as though there was no rush. I'm sure most ladies understand how frustrated I felt
Around September I gave up on bringing up any marriage talk, it saved a lot of arguing. Around November my fiance started bringing up where we want to live in the future, kids, and other future plans. My co-worker told me that she felt I was going to get a ring for Christmas,I thought yeah right.
12/21/10 I was having a long and boring day at work. I couldn't wait to leave the office because I had a 5-day weekend to look forward to. I was texting my fiance about my bad day, he said my day would be better when I get home. Finally I was able to leave, my boss let me go early
My fiance sent me a text asking me to let him know when I was home because he had a surprise. I immediately thought he got me the dog I wanted as an early Christmas gift. I was parking my car and I text my fiance that I was home. When I reached the door there was a note "I have a surprise, more instructions on the table". I went to the table, there was a note on top of a bandana "Take the bandana and go to the couch". On the couch was a note on top of a letter "Put the bandana on and say 'I'm ready"" At this point I'm confused and I have no idea what to expect. I heard my fiance's footsteps coming toward more, but no paw steps
He sat me down and took off the bandana. He was on one knee with a ring box open. I started to cry! After the crying, smiles, and hugs I read the letter. It was a beautiful letter telling me that he knew I was the one since the day he met me.
