I thought I'd say Hi and congrats to everyone out there. I have been with my now fiance for 4 years and he surprised me when we took a vacation to Maui. I am so amazed with how he surprised me as he is a romantic and often plans things months in advance without me knowing. He took me for a walk near Kapalua Bay and made an excuse to leave for a few minutes. Later, he walked me to a little hidden area of the beach and made me comb the beach with him (he said he wanted some nice sea shells to take home). When I found a glass bottle with a note, he opened it and read the same letter he wrote to me on our first Valentine's day.
Now we are trying to plan our wedding, but it is so stressful. Everyone in the family has opinions. Ultimately, it is our wedding and we are going to try to pay it ourselves, so we should do what we want. But the stress can be enormous and we most likely won't invite everyone.
So hopefully all us soon-to-be brides can hang in there together through the stresses of planning a wedding.
