Save the Date

I am starting to design the Save the Date Cards. I want to use a monogram and our colors on the card, and then Invite and at the Reception. Any good suggestions for websites to help me design it?

And, I want to include our wedding website, my family is from out of town. How do I find the link to add? Right now its some long and ugly link....

If you have either Adobe Professional or Photoshop, you can design your own monogram. I have even heard of brides doing them in Publisher.

As far as the wedding website goes, just go to tinyurl.com and copy and paste the long link into where it says. It will come up with a shortened & clean version which you can include in your STD's.
  • If you made your website through TK, they should have given you the opportunity to format your web addres to be shorter.  So even though the web address is long when you click on it through "My Knot," there is an alternative website that you can print on your save-the-dates.  If you go to "My Knot," you can click Update in the "My Website" box.  This will take you to the page where you can change your webpage.  On the top, it will say "Your Personal URL."  This will give you the nice shortened version of your website (mine says FI and my full names).  Otherwise, do the tinyurl thing in the PP.
