Im Skylar and my finace is Ben. We got engaged on May 20th and our wedding date is set for July 14th, 2012. So far I have picked the wedding colors (Jade, Deep purple, and Emerald green- we have a peacock feather inspired wedding!) and our venue. Im finally ready to just sit back and enjoy being engaged. He asked me on my 21st birthday. We went out to dinner at this very nice restaurant with my best friend and her husband. My best friend asked the waitress if she would take a picture of us and when we got up to pose for the picture he dropped down on one knee and proposed! It was perfect! The whole restaurant clapped and they broke out champagne. I couldnt have imagined a better proposal. Im so excited for my wedding, and im looking forward to making new friends here
