Planning too much too soon?

So I have been looking at venues, caterers, and djs. but here is the kicker I am not getting married for over 400 days from now. Am I doing too much too soon? Should I just take time to relax and enjoy my life? I dunno I just want it all to be perfect. Please give me advice.

</div><div>I'm pretty much doing the same thing. I've been engaged for a year now, but have a year left of school until graduation. After that I'm giving us a year to get our own apartment and settled in before the wedding. So right now we're looking at 2.5 years til we actually get married. However, we've had a good idea of what we wanted our wedding to look like since before we even got engaged. So I've picked up the "little things" like the cake topper, some decorations, print-your-own invites, bridal glasses, etc. I'm waiting on the big things until we actually get close enough to set a date. But thanks to having lots of time, and a set idea of what we want, I can sit back and wait until things get marked down or go on sale. I have yet to pay full price on anything for my wedding. I'm also a big DIYer so I have plenty of time to make stuff as well.</div>
