Hi everyone,
My boyfriend proposed to me this past May, after being together for a year and a half. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!
Since I have a very, very hectic work schedule and we will be paying for the wedding ourselves, we decided to aim for a Fall 2013 wedding. (We would probably be ready late Spring of that year, but I really want a Fall wedding!)
But I've gotten a lot of concerns that this date is too far off. Even my Grandmother is guilting me that she might be dead before the wedding.
So I was wondering how long other people's engagements are? And how long is "too long?"
