Me and my fiance have been engaged for almost 4 weeks, and I couldnt be happier. :]! There are a few things though that I'm not very happy about. 1. My dad was upset with me when he found out, only because I didnt tell him directly. The only reason why I didnt tell him was because every time I call he doesnt answer.. And he NEVER calls me... So I didnt feel the need to give him any special treatment.. (Dont get me wrong, I love my dad, but he hasnt even tried to talk to me... I'm just sour about it..)
2. My sister has been engaged for almost 2 years now and she's finally getting married Oct 22, I'm so happy for her, I know he'll make her happy. Our engagement was kind of sudden (compared to hers) and Lord knows I dont want to take away from her wedding at all (Thats why I dont even want to wear my engagement ring to her wedding) but I feel like my mom has been so preocupied with my sister's wedding that she isnt very excited about my engagement..
And 3. Me and my fiance were looking at engagement rings and we both found the perfect one, but then we found out it was out of our budget. So he then surprised me with another ring that wasnt as great and I wasnt too thrilled about... Then we went back and found out the ring we both wanted really was in our budget so we exchanged the rings, but now I have to wait about 4-6 weeks to get my perfect ring...Blah!
