SO excited to finally be able to share!!
On Thursday December 22nd, my boyfriend took me to see the musical Memphis in Toronto! He then suggested we go to a steakhouse for dinner, which is very uncharacterestic of us. We went and had a lovely dinner with wine and everything. By the time we got home it was nearly 2am, and he pulled me down to the couch with him. We were snuggling and he said, I love you so much
I was like that's good because I love you too! He then said he wants to spend the rest of his life with me....I patted his chest and said that's right, you better! We talk like this all the time and I honestly didn't think anything of it! Then he said no, I'm serious....I looked up at him in shock as it was starting to set in...he said, "I even got a ring!".....he pulled it out and asked if I'd marry him
Of course I said yes! As he put the ring on my finger I noticed his fingers were trembling, and I fell in love with him all over again
I couldn't be happier than I am now...We got to share the news with both our families over the holidays, and I'm still not really with the program because I'm still on cloud 9!
